TreeHead Culture owners Danielle and Johnny Chebat answer questions about the customer experience and building a community.
Q: One of the things that stand out about TreeHead Culture is the emphasis on customer experience and community connection. Why is this so important to you?
Danielle Chebat: The customer experience is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that a great cannabis dispensary experience goes beyond just selling products. It’s about building relationships and creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Connecting with our community is crucial because it helps us understand the needs and preferences of our customers and allows us to give back in meaningful ways.
Q: It’s clear that you prioritize making a connection with your customers. Can you share some examples of how you foster that sense of community?
Johnny Chebat: Absolutely. We host a picnic on the third Thursday of every month, where everyone is welcome to join us for a day of fun, relaxation and good food. It’s a great way for our customers and community members to come together, enjoy each other’s company and learn more about what we offer. It’s important to us that these events are open to everyone, so there’s no purchase necessary — just come by and enjoy.
Danielle Chebat: Additionally, we are huge supporters of our hometown football team and we host a tailgate party at every home game during the 2024-2025 season. You can find us on the corner of Abbott Road and Bills Drive, where we’ll be handing out free food and drinks to fans. It’s our way of celebrating our shared love for the team and creating a space where fans can connect and enjoy the game day experience.
Q: That sounds like a lot of fun! Why do you think these types of events are important for your dispensary and the community?
Johnny Chebat: These events are all about building a sense of belonging and community. In a world that can sometimes feel disconnected, we want to create opportunities for people to come together and feel like they’re part of something special.
It’s also a way for us to show appreciation to our customers and the community that supports us. By offering these events without any purchase requirement, we’re emphasizing that our relationship with the community is about more than just business; it’s about genuine connection and mutual support.
Q: It’s inspiring to see a business so committed to its community. Any final thoughts?
Danielle Chebat: We’re grateful to be part of such a supportive community and we’re committed to continuing to build those connections. Whether you’re joining us for our monthly picnic, tailgating with us for a game or just stopping by the dispensary, we’re here to make sure you have a great experience.
We invite everyone to join us at our events and see what we’re all about — you don’t have to be a customer to be part of our community.
